CONTACT USSASDA becomes a SFEDI Centre Excellence
After many months of hard work SASDA Ltd (Shildon and Sedgefield Development Agency Limited) based in Newton Aycliffe have been awarded the title of SFEDI Centre of Excellence.
SFEDI (formerly known as the Small Firms Enterprise Development Initiative) are the government-recognised standards setting body for enterprise and business support. Their aim is to continually raise the standards of learning, training, coaching and business support available to prospective and existing small business owners.
SFEDI accreditation applies to all forms of business support and enterprise activity: Business Advisers; Schools and further education establishments; Banks; Solicitors; Accountants and Financial advisors.
Business Link use this standard with their advisors nationwide and the NFEA (National Federation of Enterprise Agencies) have made adviser accreditation one of the criteria for membership.
SASDA have been at the forefront of Business Support in the Sedgefield Borough for over 25 years and already have an I.I.P award (Investors in People) and are working towards the Customer First award as part of the NFEA membership criteria.
