Rosedale Utilities Ltd grow faster with SASDA
Ken Wright of Rosedale Utilities sought the help and advice of SASDA Ltd through The Fastest 50 LEGI program (A program designed to help aspiring entrepreneurs achieve high growth by a mixture of Coaching, mentoring and Workshops).
Rosedale Utilities are an Electrical and Mechanical company dedicated to providing turnkey maintenance support to Nursing Homes and other commercial organisations.
Ken was keen to increase his turnover and profit and wanted help to move in the right direction. Mentoring is the usual route to providing the necessary support but, in Ken’s case he had most of the necessary skills and instead needed some coaching to understand what was needed from a personal point of view.
Ken worked with Karl Bone (Manager of SASDA Ltd) over a period of several months to overcome some limiting beliefs and install a strategy for success. During this work the company began to grow as Ken put things into practise, this meant a move to a new unit at Chilton Industrial Estate, the employment of his wife and an increased workforce. Turnover increased by 400% over a period of three months and continues to grow.
Ken said "it was the confidence factor that Karl instilled in me that has been most beneficial. Working in my own area of expertise I am full of confidence and feel at ease selling and projecting my company. Cold calling and making the first contact filled me with dread and I would go to some lengths to avoid make the first call, finding other things to do. After our one to ones and with the benefit of the Fastest 50 course I now set aside time to make the calls and work on the business, after all, my further success depends on me bringing the work in and widening our client list to ensure stability. The other big benefit is having an independent person not involved in the business to bounce ideas off and who will tell it like it is. We retain over 95% of our customers and aim to add two new clients a month. Not a big target but one we can manage. Thanks to SASDA and the Fastest 50 course I understand what is required to DO business and how to be in control.
