SASDA and the Newton Aycliffe Enterprise Fair Plants the Seed!
The Enterprise and Trade Fair which took place at Aycliffe Leisure Centre on the 24th of last month has provided a number of new contacts which SASDA are currently working to assist.
The people attending the event had a genuine need for information and the SASDA team spent the day engaging with people from across the region that were thinking of starting their own business or needed some general advice and support.
15 separate individuals visited the SASDA stand and took advantage of the range of free advice on offer. The range of budding business brains and those looking for more general advice and support were signposted to the relevant advice partners of Business Link, Job Centre Plus or some of the other stand holders present at the event. Those attending also took advantage of the free workshops and keynote speech by the region’s own secret millionaire, John Elliot.
Feedback on the quality of information provided was good and SASDA are continuing work with a number of contacts made at the event to provide further advice and support. The SASDA team will work over the coming weeks and months to achieve their goals and set them on their way to their own personal successes.
