Flexible Families

The 'Flexible Families' project is now working in Sedgefield Borough to help mums and dads with business ideas get started on new ventures.

Who can access 'Flexible Families'?

Anyone with young families (children under the age of 16.)
We can even help if you're an expecting mum, or maybe your partner is pregnant and you want to explore the idea of starting a new business to fit around your new family life!

What does it involve?

The 'Flexible Families' can help you:

Find new ways to turn your free time into extra income
Work out how you can fit work around your busy family
Build confidence
Generate new ideas and share thoughts with people in a similar situation
Develop new skills

How does it work?

SASDA will put on a short, informal workshop which will be help at various locations across our region. They will be organised during term time so childcare is simple and easy, and the workshop times will fit in with picking the kids up from school.

What will I get out of the Workshop?

As well getting some great ideas on how to develop your ideas we'll also give you a complementary £10 ASDA voucher when you attend the workshop. We'll also be doing a prize draw at each workshop which will offer one of three prizes for three lucky winners:

A pamper treatment of your choice at a local luxury spa
A candle-light dinner for two a local restaurant
A photo shoot with a local photography firm for you and the family
