Business and Communities Together - Shildon

The BACT concept has arrived for the businesses of Shildon and the surrounding areas. After the success of the Trimdon group (See information below) the Shildon BACT launched at the Civic Hall on the 4th March.

The businesses in attendance got a lot out of the evening and discussed the challenges facing business in the Shildon area, as well as possible solutions to those challenges.

Winner of the Spring Hamper was Keith Firman from Autosum Accounts, with second prize going Kairen Dodds from Butter fingers.

Business and Communities Together - Trimdon and Fishburn

The BACT project is well underway in the Trimdon and Fishburn area.

The project is moving forward, but still needs new members. The Trimdon group have formed a working party and is now looking at how best to meet the needs of their respective businesses.

The launch event on the 22nd was well attended and formed the basis of the group going forward. Take a look at some photo's from the evening.

The BACT project will be rolling out across the county in the new year, with events planned for Newton Aycliffe & Midridge and Shildon & Bishop Auckland taking place in February.
